Five of our sleepaway camps are located on Sharpe Reservation, a more than 2,000-acre property, in Fishkill, NY. Our sixth camp, Camp Junior in memory of Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz, is located at Harriman State Park. The Fresh Air Fund’s camps are accredited by the American Camp Association.
Youth, 8-15, who live and go to school in NYC, and meet income eligibility requirements, can apply for our free summer camp programs. Youth, 16-17, who live and go to school in NYC are eligible to apply for our CIT Program.

Learn MoreYes! Our camps are available to rent for day and overnight trips during the school year when Fresh Air children are not at camp. Members of the community and school groups participate in year-round and environmental education programs at Sharpe Reservation. All campers have the opportunity to visit the Model Farm, planetarium, teams course, and high ropes course. Our camps also share our extensive hiking trails and archery courses.
All of our camps are accredited by the American Camping Association.
