Job Shadowings

Job Shadowings offer students an opportunity to learn more about future careers. They develop networking skills and start to develop their career interests and see the connection between college and a career.

Program participants are required to attend two Job Shadowings each semester. Check back frequently, as new dates continue to be added!

November 

  • Tuesday, November 19, 2024 – MSG Network (Virtual) 

December 

  • Wednesday, December 4, 2024 – Penguin Random House (In-Person)
  • Thursday, December 5, 2024 – The Brant Foundation (In-Person) 

How to Sign Up

  1. Review the job shadowing list below.
  2. Click on the name of the job shadowing that you are interested in and fill out the form.
    Note: (The form will close when the job shadowing has been filled to capacity.)
  3. Once we have received your submission, we will contact you to confirm your child’s spot.

Important Reminders

  • The fall semester is from September-December and the spring semester is from February to May. 
  • Students who attend tutoring cannot sign up for a Job Shadowing on their tutoring day.
  • Students are expected to dress professionally, or be in their school uniform, for all job shadowings.
  • Please do not wait to the last minute to register and attend; there are fewer job shadowings offered later in the semester
  • Remember to check back! We will continue to post job shadowings as they become available.
