CAP Family Resources

The Career Awareness Program requires a three-year commitment. In addition to attending Camp Mariah during the summer, Career Awareness students are required to attend several events during the school year including Job Shadowings, the Annual Career Fair, and a Fall and Spring Camping Weekend. Information on events and resources are included below.

The Fall Semester Is Here!

Please keep in mind the following mandatory requirements for the 2024-2025 Academic Year:

  • 2 Job Shadowings: Between September to December
  • Fall Camping Weekend (every participant attends the camping weekend that corresponds to their session at summer camp).

Please note that if your child was in RC3 during the summer, they are still required to complete their year-round commitments. RC3 year is not completed until all Spring requirements have been completed.

Camp Weekends

Every fall and spring campers participate in overnight weekends at camp. Each weekend has a special theme!

Students need to sign up in advance for each semester. Each student in the program is matched up with a volunteer tutor for a weekly evening session.
