Pennsylvania (PA) Background Clearances
At The Fresh Air Fund, our number one priority is the safety of all children involved in our programs. In addition to our own screening process, all volunteers residing in Pennsylvania, either full or part-time, must fulfill all of the legal requirements for the state of Pennsylvania’s Child Protection Laws.
Any volunteer 18 years or over who is interacting with Fresh Air participants must complete the following three (3) requirements every five (5) years. Detailed instructions as well as options for those who would rather submit on paper than online can be found here.
For questions, call your Fresh Air Fund volunteer leader or your New York City-based field manager at 1-800-367-0003.
