Young Women’s Giving Circle: Friendship, Philanthropy and Finding Your Voice 

In addition to its summer camps, The Fresh Air Fund provides several year-round enrichment programs including the Young Women’s Giving Circle (YWGC), for girls ages 13–17. The youth-led program empowers youth to explore the importance of community service and the impact of philanthropy. It provides a safe and supportive space where girls can build friendships and networks, support one another, and learn through workshops and guest speakers. Students meet weekly at The Fund’s midtown office where advisors – many of whom are alumni of the program – provide critical support and encouragement.
