Ilanis’ Summer Story: New Skills, Nature and Fun at Camp Mariah 

We spoke to Ilanis, 12, who just completed her second summer at Camp Mariah! She spoke about her experiences with The Fresh Air Fund’s Career Awareness Program, what she loves most about spending time outdoors and all about the many new activities she tried at camp.  

Ilanis shared that Camp Mariah taught her how to connect with nature, and how she discovered that there are so many ways to grow, learn and have fun without screens and electronics.
