CEO Search Update
Dear Fresh Air Fund Community,
The Fresh Air Fund celebrated its 145th anniversary of bringing the magic of summer to New York City’s children in October 2021. Thank you for being part of our valued community. With your engagement and support, we help kids discover new skills and talents, unlock their limitless potential, and make lifelong memories. The Fund is as relevant today as it was at its inception, operating every summer since 1877, serving more than 1.8 million young people.
In the face of the pandemic, The Fresh Air Fund has continued to make memorable experiences possible through outdoor NYC day programming to keep our community connected as well as virtual programs to bring the outdoors inside. The Fund has not wavered in its dedication to helping educate and empower NYC kids as they learn to take care of themselves and their world. As The Fund looks forward to Summer 2022, planning is underway for both of our traditional camping and Friendly Towns programs and new in-person, daytime and hybrid programs, all designed to encourage Fresh Air children to try things they never imagined they’d do and carry their newfound confidence with them as they return to their schools and neighborhoods.
We are excited to share an update on our progress on the search for The Fund’s next CEO.
